Lake Sevan
One of the highest freshwater lakes in the world. It's also known for its beautiful beaches.
Dilijan
It's known for spa resorts and traditional craft workshops. The town is surrounded by the forests of Dilijan National Park.
The Old Tufenkian district
This is one of the most visited sites of the city. In the 1800s, the age-old Armenian city of Dilijan was known as a blossoming center of culture, commerce and cuisine. In 2004, Tufenkian began restoring the historical district (Sharambeyan Street) of modern-day Dilijan, preserving the 19th century architecture which you can experience today. The intricately carved balconies typical of 19th century Dilijan show you the region’s historical love for fine woodwork.
You can also enjoy shopping souvenirs here.
Haghartsin fairy tale monastery
What the Ruler of Sharjah requested in return for the restoration was a permission to build a house not far from the Haghartsin with a view to the complex. Beyond the walls of the complex, you can see the locals selling some herbs and homemade eco-products.
Parz Lich (Crystal Lake)
This is also one of the primary tourist destinations in Armenia. It looks like a yet unpolished diamond surrounded by dense forest. The breathtaking harmony of the lake doesn't let people go.
