We will stop first of all at the Charents Arch, from which an absolutely incredible panorama of Ararat Valley is opened.
Geghard
Next stop is Geghard Spear monastery which is dedicated to the legendary Holy Lance which had wounded Jesus Christ at the Crusifixion.
Garni
We continue our trip to Garni where the only standing heathen times temple is located. The highlight of the day is Stone Symphony in the canyon of Azat river.
Yerevan
Arrival to Yerevan. I'll drop you off at your hotel.

Let's explore the southern part of Armenia, which is considered to be the cradle of winemaking due to the oldest winery discovered in Areni -1 cave. Khor Virap is located at the border with Turkey. This was the Royal Prison where Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned in a Deep Pit. He became the founder of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the first saint and bishop. Noravank is the masterpiece of the famous Armenian architect Momik.
