Sevanavank is a historic 9th-century monastic complex located on a peninsula in Lake Sevan, Armenia. Founded in 874 AD by Princess Mariam, it is famous for its two remaining churches, Surb Arakelots (Holy Apostles) and Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God), constructed of dark volcanic tuff stone.
Tsaghkadzor is a popular tourist town in the Republic of Armenia.. The town is famous for both summer and winter tourism and attracts tourists from all over the world as well as the local population.

Our first stop is Lake Sevan and the monastery. Sevanavank is a historic 9th-century monastic complex located on a peninsula in Lake Sevan. It is called "Pearl of Armenia"
Tsaghkadzor resort town
Our second stop will be in Tsaghkadzor. It is a popular tourist town in the Republic of Armenia, it is located not far from the capital (50 km north-east from Yerevan). The town is famous for both summer and winter tourism, especially for mountain skiing.
