Gobustan World Heritage Museum and Rocks
As a Time Traveler with Outstanding Value Gobustan for the density of its rock arts!
Gobustan UNESCO Site it is the remains of caves and burials, considering with an intensive human use by the inhabitants on period of last Ice Age, the Upper Paleolithic and the Middle Ages.
Duration: from Baku city to Gobustan World Heritage - 40 minutes driving.
Playing a music with Gaval Dash (one of four musical stones found in the reserve) which probably were used as a percussion instrument, resembling the sound of a tambourine.
The First Kind of Communications - the rock-art as a sample of this. In the rock drawings include bulls, goats, horses, deer, birds and more.
Walk through the huge megaliths and stones, enter to Anazagha cave.
Mud Vulcanoes

- You will get the unique experience with discovering over 200 mud volcanoes in Gobustan - Alat area and there more than 450 mud vulcanoes which is the largest number of volcanoes found in a single region.
The volcanic cone is a flat uplift elongated in east-west Apsheron Peninsula. Dashgil area is a one of the active mud volcanoes in Azerbaijan. It has erupted many times: in 1882, 1902, 1926, and 1958.
Mud volcanoes are associated with oil and gas resource often within hydrocarbon source rocks. Hydrocarbon deposits are very high in country, especially in geological sections of the middle Pliocene, Paleogene-Miocene and Mesozoic layers (approx 14000 y.)
The volcanic mud in this region is rich in minerals: sulfur, magnesium, iodine which is highly beneficial for health conditions. People have used the mud for centuries to treat skin disorders, joint pain, respiratory problems. In Azerbaijan it is mostly used to detoxify the body.

Hiking Day Tour: Galaalti village - Chiraggala Defense Tower
After driving for 2 hours we arrive to Galaalti village. From here we will start our 2.5km hike up through the forest. Galaalti village is an old village located at the foot of a medieval fortress. Chirag Gala is an ancient castle that was built back in 4-5th cent then we will start our hike in the village of Galaalti. Most of the trail is going uphill through the forest area. After completing the last part we find ourselves in the area of the castle, spectacular views here are for sure.

Natural Wonders of Apsheron Peninsula and Zaha Hadid's Masterpiece
