- Dhakeshwari National Temple Start your day early at Bangladesh’s national Hindu temple, originally built in the 12th century during the Sena dynasty. The serene atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to kick off the tour. Key Features: Distinct architectural layout, ancient statues, and active daily prayer rituals. Tip: Wear modest attire and remove shoes when entering inner prayer sanctuaries.
Lalbagh
A short distance from the temple lies this 17th-century incomplete Mughal fort complex built by Prince Muhammad Azam.
Key Features: The Tomb of Pari Bibi, the Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Audience) with its museum, and the three-domed Lalbagh Fort Mosque set inside manicured gardens.
