Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace)
*Ahsan Manzil*, also known as the *Pink Palace*, is one of the most iconic historical landmarks in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Located on the banks of the *Buriganga River* in the old part of the city, it was the official residential palace of the *Nawab family of Dhaka* during the British colonial period.
Originally built in the mid-19th century, Ahsan Manzil showcases a blend of *Mughal and European architectural styles*. Its striking pink façade, grand dome, and elegant interiors reflect the luxury and influence of the Nawabs. Today, the palace has been converted into a museum that displays artifacts, furniture, photographs, and documents from the Nawab era, offering visitors a glimpse into the aristocratic lifestyle of that time.

Lalbag Fort
Lalbagh Fort is an unfinished 17th-century Mughal fort in Dhaka, Bangladesh, located on the banks of the Buriganga River. Construction began in 1678 by Prince Muhammad Azam, but was halted after his successor, Shaista Khan, left the project unfinished due to the death of his daughter, Pari Bibi.
