Authentic Belgian Beer Tasting and Brewery Tour in Brussels

In this tour, you will learn more about Belgian beers, why they are known worldwide, and why BELGIAN BEER is the BEST in the WORLD! First, you will learn about the history of Belgian beers and why it runs through every facet of Belgian culture. This tour will also allow you to taste between 4-10 different kinds of beers (or even more!) and the highlight will be to visit one of the best traditional breweries in town.

Meeting Point
At your hotel or any train station in Brussels
At your hotel in Brussels or any of the train stations in Brussels
I will meet you at your desired meeting place and depending on where you are, we will either walk or take public transportation to reach the brewery.
At a Local Brewery
The guided tour starts at 3 pm and takes about an hour and a half. We will start by visiting a traditional brewery and will have a private guided tour that will explain to you about Belgian beers, how they survived, and the process of how they make traditional brewing.
Beer Tasting Experience
You will be offered to taste the beer being brewed at the brewery and will also have the opportunity to buy a few bottles to bring back home.
Go to a Local Bar/Pub
From the brewery, we will walk back to the city center and I will bring you to one of the local bars where you will continue your Belgian beer-tasting experience.
At a Local Bar/Pub
Here, you will have the opportunity to taste different kinds of beers. You can choose between 6 to 12 kinds of beer. You can also order/purchase some food to go along with the drinks (this will be an extra cost for you). Or I can leave you from here. Please feel free to let me know your specific preferences and I will be happy to assist you.
At your hotel in Brussels or any of the train stations in Brussels
I can leave you at the bar, or I can bring you back to your hotel or any train station.

Tour Important Information
This tour has 2-parts: a private tour at the brewery and a beer-tasting experience at a local bar/pub.
Belgium has very strict rules on drunk driving, only allowing 0.5 milligrams of alcohol per milliliter of blood, so please drink moderately.
NOTE: There is a SPECIAL BREWING TOUR to be held early next year (in March 2024) and if you want to experience this SPECIAL EVENT, you can find out more information about it by contacting me, thank you!

My schedule is flexible. I can be available to do a half-day, a whole day, or even an evening tour. I can also guide you to different cities in Belgium and customize a multiple-day tour for you and your group.
If your group is more than 6 people, please let me know and I will be happy to adjust the pricing to accommodate your group.

Over the past years, I have been guiding guests and showing them different Belgian cities like Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp, and Ghent. My tours are designed not only to see the main sights but also to experience how locals live, eat, and drink. I was once a tourist here, and so I always strive to show guests what Belgium is like in the eyes of a tourist and at the same time share with them what it means to live here as a local.
I offer different kinds of tours depending on your wishes. From historical city walking tours to unique experiences such as beer-tasting, and chocolate-making workshops, and can even bring you to luxury shopping outlets too. Multiple-day city tours are also possible, where we can provide a car transfer as well.

“A Day trip to Brugge and Damme”
May was our guide in Brugge and Damme in mid September of this year. Our group are all seniors - all 65 years and older. We were able to cover all attractions in our itinerary. She coordinated the bus for our group on the tour date. There was a minor mechanical issue on the original assigned bus, however, she was able to coordinate the bus replacement. Flexibility on start times depending on our destinations. She made arrangements for a private boat tour in Brugge for our group.. May is very personable and has tremendous patience with our group. She, takes good care of her clients and tells stories about areas history. We can highly recommend May for your guided trip to Brugge and Damme.
