Meeting Point
At the pre-planned location in Brussels
At your hotel in Brussels or any desired meeting place
We will start our tour by having either a hot or cold beverage with waffles. As we walk, you will hear a few interesting facts about Belgian food culture.
Walk around the city center
As we continue walking, I will share some interesting stories behind beautiful buildings around us. You will know more about the history of Brussels and how it evolved as the second cosmopolitan city in the world.
Fries for Lunch
It's time to eat and we're gonna head to a local "fritkot" where locals go to have fries that will match the good artisan craft beers. You will learn a few secrets about why Belgium's fries and the best and why "french fries" is not French.
Note: You can opt to go to a local restaurant where they serve local dishes.
Coffee and Chocolates
Now it's time to have a cup of coffee while enjoying a few artisan chocolates. You will learn a bit more about Belgian chocolates and also the coffee industry in Belgium. We will go and visit a few chocolatier shops too.
Royal Quarters, Sablon and the Marolles
As we walk towards the old city gates, we will pass by some different cute little pub houses and restaurants where you can choose to drink beer and dine for later.

Over the past years, I have been guiding guests and showing them different Belgian cities like Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp, and Ghent. My tours are designed not only to see the main sights but also to experience how locals live, eat, and drink. I was once a tourist here, and so I always strive to show guests what Belgium is like in the eyes of a tourist and at the same time share with them what it means to live here as a local.
I offer different kinds of tours depending on your wishes. From historical city walking tours to unique experiences such as beer-tasting, and chocolate-making workshops, and can even bring you to luxury shopping outlets too. Multiple-day city tours are also possible, where we can provide a car transfer as well.

“A Day trip to Brugge and Damme”
May was our guide in Brugge and Damme in mid September of this year. Our group are all seniors - all 65 years and older. We were able to cover all attractions in our itinerary. She coordinated the bus for our group on the tour date. There was a minor mechanical issue on the original assigned bus, however, she was able to coordinate the bus replacement. Flexibility on start times depending on our destinations. She made arrangements for a private boat tour in Brugge for our group.. May is very personable and has tremendous patience with our group. She, takes good care of her clients and tells stories about areas history. We can highly recommend May for your guided trip to Brugge and Damme.
