There are 6 domed stadiums in Japan where professinal baseball teams have games. Besides baseball games, domed stadiums are used for other various events such as American football, pro wrestling, concerts and exhibitions. I think that the reasons why domed stadiums are adopted in Japan because the land prices are high and it can always do something regardless of the weather. The average annual precipitation in Tokyo is 1,500 mm which is twice as large as that of the globe. If you are interested in domed stadiums, I would like to take you to Tokyo Dome.
