As anyone in the world knows, we are being called on to avoid outing due to the COVID 19. Just before the request, I made it to a bonsai museum in Tokyo. I've never been there before and didn't know much about bonsai. My gneration likely see bousai as a hobby for elderly folks who have retired. But I have changed my image. I was surprised to learn what a patient work bonsai is. It's certainly an art.
Sunkaen Bonsai Museum does not look like a museum. You can also see the traditional Japanese residential architecture when you enter the beautiful house. The entrance fee, 800 yen is a small price to pay for things you can learn in the museum.
There are hundreds of bonsai, some of which are more than 1000 years old and costs more than 100,000,000 yen!
Look at the gorgeous combination of the bonsai and weeping cherry blossom!
