Hello. I m LizAndreA and started doing guided tours since 2004. I hold a degree in Economy plus became and official Tour Guide. I love to explore my city as well as travel so it is a good combo to offer my experience.
Buenos Aires is huge and it will be so different depend on the tour you get, depend on the time you come, depend on your interest, depend on local events, depend on the guide you get. Is a vibrant city , full of coffee stops, eclectic architecture, influence of european roots, dynamic, diverse, foodies, walking, fashion, street art, history, culture, parks, tango, football, economy, and more.
How to learn all this while visiting?
How to understand what is going with the dollar?
How to understand why Evita is from Argentina and Maradona as well as Messi?
How to understand the behave of the locals and the influence of the inmigration?
During summer is hot and humid (dec jan feb march) . Distances are large , more than you expected. Doing a 4 hours tour is ok but little superficial on the bus. Walking insider is nice to interact with people and feel the streets. Buying local souvenirs is also a good way to have a memorable trip. Independent guides can show the city to you and visit places that fit with you. Enjoy the city and learn about it is a good way to tour and do a cultural tour meanwhile having fun.
Be with a local is a guarantee that you will optimize the time with the experience to optimize the itinerary according to your location, traffic, and the schedule of the places you visit.
