Transportation

It is very convenient to have an IC card to get around the Tokyo Metropolitan area. Because of the lack of IC chips, you can only get Welcome Suica-s at the airports now.

Unless you're a person who can get used to using a lot of different coins, the IC cards will save you from becoming a coin collector.  You can use them at many vending machines and convenience stores nationwide, marked with oval marks representing PASMO/SUICA.

Also, for most of the transportation, you can board by tapping the oval at the ticket gates when you get in and out. You can also get the Pasmo Passport with this cute Sanrio design for 1500 yen if you present a passport to prove you're a temporary visitor.

There is also an option to add either to your Apple Wallet.

Add a Suica, PASMO, or ICOCA card to Apple Wallet - Apple Support

You won't need a physical card in that case, but you need "an eligible payment card in Apple Wallet."

That means, you need to have an American Express or Master card tied to the Apple Wallet. The card will save you a lot of trouble, and you won't need to buy tickets each time you board.  Good luck!!

Tokyo Up-to-You Tour

Tokyo
8 hours

I recommend ending up the day with the night view of the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo Bay, the most beautiful night view in Tokyo I would like you to see. We will visit the spots you would like to in Tokyo.I will make an itinerary based on your choices and requests. (The popular highlights will be Meiji Jingu Shrine, East Gardens and Asakusa with Nakamise Souvenir Shopping Streets.) Sightseeing spots in Tokyo is widely spread, so I guess we can only visit three or four spots a day.

Edo Tokyo Tour: East Gardens & Ueno Park or Asakusa

Tokyo
4 hours 30 min

East Gardens of the Imperial Palace is one of the Must-See spots in Tokyo, I believe. The gardens are quite beautiful and there was the castle of the Capital approximately four hundred years ago and now around there is the business center of Japan. After visiting the East Gardens, we will visit Ueno Park, which also has some historical buildings. Or you can choose Asakusa, one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo instead.
