Even in February, you can enjoy cherry blossoms. This is Kawazuzakura, which was originally found in Kawazu in Shizuoka.
It is much pinkish than the major Somei Yoshino. Also you can see pink and white plum (ume) trees now at Gojo Tenjin Shrine at Ueno Park.

Great day out visiting Mount Fuji. Yoko was very helpful with the booking and anticipating all needs prior to the tour. Yoko was very knowledgeable and very patient with my youngest who complained all day about walking. She took us to soo many different sights and taught us about why the Japanese do what they do and showed us how to cleanse ourselves before entering a temple.
Sometimes she did walk super fast ahead of us and would be talking so we couldn’t hear but she was overall amazing.

Very friendly and good navigator. I liked her knowledge of current Japanese pop culture and never made me feel stupid for asking questions. Let me start by saying Yoko speaks English well with little to no accent which is a huge plus in a guide. She is knowledgeable in Japanese history. We spent an entire day with her and she introduced us to the amazing sites at Nikko. If you want to experience Japanese history (2hr trip from Tokyo) a visit to Nikko is a must and you can not go wrong with Yoko.
