The treasures of sacred mountain Koyasan

The founder of Shingon Buddhism, Kobo Daishi, began the construction of monastic complex deep in the mountains of Koyasan as a place for meditation far from worldly desires In 816.

That's why the treasures of sacred mountain Koyasan are exhibited to commemorate Koyasan 1200th Anniversary at Abeno Harukas Art Museum.
In the museum you can see many Buddhist statues such as the seated image of Kobo Daishi, Eight attendants of Fudo-Myoo, the Standing Figures of four Heavenly kings and the like.
There are 117 temple houses and you can stay in 52 houses our of them. I would like you to visit the sacred Shingon World.

Abeno Harukas

By the way have you ever heard of Abeno Harukasu ?  Abeno Harukas is the tallest building in Japan with a height of 300 meters.  It was open to the public on March 7th last year (2014) and the number of visitors to the observatory on the 60th floor exceeded 2 million on Nov. 24th (less than 9 month).  If you come to Osaka, I hope you'll find the Osaka Castle from the observatory on the 60th floor .
