Two nature guides including me patroled Kushigatayama Mountain in Minami Alps City.
Mt. Fuji, five lakes including Kawaguchiko Lake, Saiko Lake are so well known while even the city of Minami Alpls where I live is not so well known. Kushigatayama Mountain is 2056m high lying in the west of the city. From that mountain, we can see Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kitadake, 2nd highest mountain in Japan, the mountain is not so well known to tourists from other countries. I am able to guide this 2nd highest mountain in Japan.
Patrol was to watch for any illegal hunters of rare butterflies.
