Akita Dog, named Hachi, was born in Akita prefecture, northern part of Honshu island. Professor, Ueno, liked the dog and they lived together in Tokyo. Mr.Ueno was a professor of agriculture science at Tokyo University. Hachi liked him, so every morning Hachi see him off at Shibuya station and pick him up every evening. But unluckily one day Professor Ueno passed away. However Hachi did'nt konw his death. After Mr.Ueno died, Hachi did'nt stop running to Shibuya station every morning for seven years. This is real story. Hachi is the dog of the dogs! This story was made into a movie, title "Hachi, A Dog's Tale" It is an American movie by main character, Richard Gere.
