Plum blossoms are in bloom in February
The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace are popular sightseeing spots. I sometimes go to the gardens. My favorite route is to go through Hirakawa-mon gate to Ote-mon gate. On the route, I want to pick two things. Speaking of the season, they are enjoyable throughout the year. My best choice is from the mid February to the early March, when plum blossoms are in bloom. The photo above is the slope from Hirakawa-mon gate to remains of the main tower. Although the cherry blossom season, when is from late March through April, is best in the tour, I recommend you visit Japan, especially Tokyo, in February. It is cold but around noon the tenperature goes up to 10℃. The air is clear, so it is more possible for you to get a view of Mt. Fuji from Tokyo. Besides the season, the other is carps in the pond of Ninomaru Garden. Carps there have a long tail. These were created in 1980's by mixed breeding between Indonesia origin with a long tail and Japanese origin, colored carps. My tour, A one day tour for the first time visitors to Tokyo, includes the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. Why don't you join me?
