The Moon Viewing Tradition in Japan

On particular night in September we have tradition of the moon viewing. (September 27 this year)  We decorate our table with Japanese pampas grass, a stack of small rice powder balls and autumn harvest such as sweet potatoes and taros.  Family get together and appreciate a beautiful full moon.
