In the end of Edo period, the late 19th century he was born in a rich family.
But he was very loyal to Shogun, the head master of all samurai, and the Emperor.
So he formed special police against terrorism in Kyoto to protect Shogun and the Emperor.
He fought to protect this country until he died.
He lived and died for his belief.
His life time was only 34 years but he used his hole life for belief.
So he deserves to be called the real last samurai.
