India is filled with culture,tradition,diversity.As you maybe know India was ruled by Muslims mughal emperors and delhi was the center of Muslims empire as the mughal darbar(mughal court)was the epicenter of ruling all over India so the magnificent and grandeur was everywhere in the court so was the foods.muslims mughal emperors introduced meat based foods as India was vegetarian and also spice loving and so with the infusion of spices and meat together came many new dishes such as nihari( which means early morning breakfast in persian language that is special curry made of buffalo meat seasoned with spices traditionally descended from royal mughal kitchen),qourma (curry made with buffalo meat or chicken),alo gosht( potatoes curry made with buffalo meat),dal ghost (pulse curry made with buffalo meat )etc.which became famous among the v.i.p's as well common people alike.three hours long duration tour walks with food walks covering the monuments such as jama masjid ,kali masjid(a very old famous mosque built by Turkish slave dynasty rulers),razia sultan's tomb (first Muslim lady ruler of Turkish slave dynasty also controversial one) going through the sprawling streets of old delhi.
