Travel Tips

The best way to travel in Tokyo is walking on foot, not by car, train, bus, boat, rickshaw and so on. In Tokyo, there are many slopes which count about 800 even with their names. Slopes in Tokyo give the townscape spice and charm. When you make a walking tour in Tokyo, a number of slopes and the characteristiscs of them will definitely surprise you. Some of them cannot permit cars and even bikes to come up and down because they are not only steep but also often built in stairways. On the way to scenic and historical sites one after another, I feel real atmosphere in Tokyo while walking upward and downward. The photo below is Munatsuki-zaka in Japanese where there is a rest space on half the slope because of its long and steep feature. This leads from Waseda University to Tokyo Cathedral Church. Munatsuki-zaka means hard to climb. Why don't you join my tour? I wiil take you to many interesting places, walking up and down various slopes.blog image
