Meeting Point
Niterói´s Itaipu Silva Jardim Plaza
- The plaza is the end of the road for those who go to Itaipu beach. You should see a round shape plaza filled with grass. The guide will be near by to meet you and brief on the tour.
Niterói´s Swallows Lookout I
The best view you can get of Itacoatiara beach and it´s surroundings! You will admire the rainforest that covers the hills wich ends on the sea. A nice memory and a belonging feel.
Niterói´s Swallows Lookout II
Feel the fresh breeze that comes from the sea, while you admire the Big Dune, one of the most importants historical records we have from ancestors who lived on this land --- that we will check later in the archelogical local museum. Observe Itaipu´s lagoon and the coastline as it fades away.
Niterói´s Swallows Lookout III
Higher on the hill we can have a better look on Itacoatiara´s neighborhood, plus, all the forest on the hills nearby. Not to mention the sea.It´s nice to see everything from a diferente perspective!

With many cactus close by and typical vegetation of beach areas, we will be gazing Itaipu´s neighborhood along with Camboinhas beach and other importants sites on shore that the guide will tell a curiosity or two!

So close to the sea, the restaurant specialty is seafood. But don´t worry. There are many possibilities for every diverse taste! It´s all good!
Niterói´s Itaipu Archeological Museum
An old church that gave shelter for single women and orphans, built with whale oil, mussels and stones, that now holds the collections of objects retrieved from the sand to tell the stories of natives that use to live on the coast.
