08:30 AM

Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda

We begin our tour at the magnificent Royal Palace complex. We will explore the beautiful Khmer architecture of the Throne Hall and visit the adjacent Silver Pagoda, famous for its floor covered in thousands of silver tiles and its priceless emerald and gold Buddha statues.

09:50 AM

Genocide Musuem

A powerful, deeply moving visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school that was transformed into the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) during the Khmer Rouge regime between 1975 and 1979. This site serves as a vital testament to Cambodia’s recent history and the resilience of its people.

Led by your private guide, you will walk through the preserved classrooms, prison cells, and courtyard areas. The museum houses thousands of haunting photographic archives documenting the men, women, and children who were detained here, offering an unforgettable and intimate look at the human cost of the regime.

This visit provides crucial historical context before heading to the Killing Fields, allowing you to honor the memory of the victims in a respectful, educational, and supportive environment. Your guide will be by your side to help navigate the emotional weight of the exhibits, answer your questions, and share stories of survival and the country’s inspiring journey toward healing.

11:20 AM

Killing Field

A deeply moving and essential visit to the Choeung Ek Genocidal Center, the most famous of the sites known as the Killing Fields. Located just outside the city, this former orchard served as a major execution and mass grave site during the Khmer Rouge regime. Today, it has been transformed into a peaceful, sacred memorial dedicated to honoring the hundreds of thousands of victims.

Accompanied by your private guide, you will walk along the quiet pathways of the memorial grounds. The site features an incredibly informative and respectful audio tour that perfectly complements your guide's insights. Together, you will view the preserved mass graves, the moving commemorative signs, and the iconic Buddhist Stupa. This striking monument houses more than 5,000 human skulls, arranged by age and gender, serving as a powerful reminder of the past.

This visit offers a profound space for reflection and remembrance. It provides an unforgettable lesson on history, the strength of the human spirit, and Cambodia's inspiring journey toward rebuilding, healing, and national peace.

02:00 PM

Wat Phnom

A delightful and culturally rich visit to Wat Phnom, the historic landmark that marks the very birthplace of Phnom Penh. Perched atop the city's only hill at 27 meters high, this sacred Buddhist temple was originally built in 1372 to house four Buddha statues discovered floating in the Mekong River by a wealthy widow named Daun Penh (Grandmother Penh)—giving the city its name.

Accompanied by your private guide, you will climb the grand eastern staircase, flanked by stone lions and mythical Naga balustrades. At the summit, you will explore the main sanctuary (Vihara), adorned with vibrant wall murals depicting traditional Jataka tales, and view the massive stupa containing the ashes of King Ponhea Yat.

As you stroll through the shaded, manicured gardens surrounding the hill, your guide will share the local folklore and show you the giant working floral clock at the base. Offering a serene escape from the bustling streets, this visit provides a wonderful insight into daily spiritual life, where locals come to pray for good fortune and leave offerings.
