This is the nice stop to explore the ancient stone bridge built in 12th century located along the ancient road from Angkor to Sambo Preikuk, the ancient city of 7-8th century.
Exploring the amazing ancient temple groups in Sambo Preikuk
The absolute highlight of our tour is exploring the breathtaking forest sanctuary of Sambor Prei Kuk, a UNESCO World Heritage site that served as the pre-Angkorian capital of the Chenla Empire. Far more peaceful and uncrowded than the main parks in Siem Reap, this unique archaeological site features over a hundred brick temples dating back to the 7th century. As we wander beneath the quiet jungle canopy, you will marvel at the rare, octagonal-shaped shrines and the famous Prasat Chrey, where ancient brick walls are beautifully gripped by massive, cascading tree roots. We will also get up close to admire the incredible "flying palaces"—intricate, remarkably preserved bas-relief carvings chiseled directly into the brickwork over 1,400 years ago. It is an inspiring, immersive step back in time to where Khmer art and architecture truly began.

“Wonderful tour around Siem Reap”
Saroun was an excellent guide for our 2 days touring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. He accommodated all of our requests and balanced the needs of our diverse group. The van was comfortable, with excellent AC. After each temple, we’d return to cold water and fresh cold face-cloths. Saroun spoke excellent English and animated the history, religion, politics and architecture of the sites. Each temple came alive with his guidance. We absolutely loved our time in Cambodia. Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour with Sunrise & Sunset
The Angkor Wat Small Circuit tour starts very early in the morning. You’ll be picked up before sunrise around 4:30am – 5:00am and you’ll spend the whole day exploring the temples before stopping to see the sunset at Srah Srang around 6:00pm – 6:30pm.
