Angkor Wat temple
This temple was build by King Suryavarman II for Vishnu in Hinduism. Then it was converted to Buddhism in the 16th century by King Chan Raja, the Buddhist king. In this temple, you will enjoy the amazing landscape view and learn the carvings along the wall describing about Hindu epics.
Ta Pramh temple
It is also called Tomb Raider temple because of the Hollywood movie. It was constructed under the reign of King Jayavarman VII for his mother and Buddhism. It is very attractive because of a number of gorgeous trees growing in the temple complex.
Angkor Thom City
This great city is surrounded by the city wall with five main gates topped by four-face towers, which look so interesting. You will stop for shooting the wonderful pictures.
The Terrace of the Elephant
This terrace was originally used for meeting people stage for the kings, It was built under the reign of king Jayavarman VII. It is called elephant terrace because of the elephant carvings on the wall.
Phimean Akas temple
Before getting to this temple, you are going to walk through the Royal Palace. Phimean Akas, Hindu temple, was built in the middle of ancient Royal Palace. Furthermore, you can see that this temple was built from laterites and sandstones. Then you will continue walking along the walking lane to Baphuon temple.
Baphuon temple
This Hindu temple was built in the reign of King Udayadidayavarman II in the 1050
AD to 1066AD for Lord Shiva. This is among the massive temple ever built by Khmer Kings.
Bayon temple
This temple was also built in the reign of King Jayavarman VII for Buddhism. Generally, tourist prefers calling this temple as Smiling Faces because the faces on each towers of the temple.
Sunset at Bakheng temple
You are going to walk up this hill to see the amazing sunset. Bakheng temple was built in ninth century by king Yashovarman I for Lord Shiva and located in middle of the capital called Yashodharapura. From the top of this hill, you can see Angkor Wat temple, the view of Siem Reap city, Large Baray (Water Reservoir) and Phnom Kulen. You will spend enough time to enjoy sunset. Then walk down the hill the parking.
