This is a Buddhist temple built in the reign of Kin Jayavarman VII for his father in the late twelfth century. It is in ruinous state now, but it still looks very nice. You will see some great carving on the pediments as well as on surface of the pillars. There is a stupa in middle of the temple and then you will see the nice carving of the queen, Jayadevi and Indradevi. Furthermore, there is a two-storey building, which is very unique one during Angkor period. You will enjoy taking the nice photos of this temple.
Before getting this temple, you will see a wide water reservoir. This temple was built on an island in the center of this water reservoir. To get there, you will walk along with the bridge. You will see the tower of the temple on an island and other pool used since the ancient time.
This is a small temple built under the reign of King Jayavarman VII at late twelfth century for Buddhism. The main attraction of this temple is the east gate topped by a giant tree with its wonderful roots.
This is tenth century temple built in the reign of king Rajendravarman II for Hinduism. This temple is located on another island of another Baray. Because of the old age, it has been dried up. It is among a mountain-temple, so you have to walk up the staircases to to the top of the temple to enjoy the panorama view of the surrounding area.
This is another mountain-temple built under the reign of King Rajendravarman II for Hinduism. This is his state temple, which looks so gorgeous. There you will see many main materials used to built the temple, sandstones, lava rocks, bricks and stuccos. It is higher than East Mebon temple. From the top of this temple, you will enjoy the greenery surrounding landscapes.
