Start the tour from the hotel after breakfast.
Check point
You will stop at the checking point at the foot of the mountain. Then the journey will continue up the mountain along the road. You can enjoy the natural landscape along the way.
Thousand Linga River
This river is impressive because in its bed thousand lings were carved since 11th century by King Udayadidayavarman II. You will see carving of Bramha and reclining Vishnu with his wife Leaksmi along the river bed. Walking up will you get the holy well, this well is wonderful because the color of the water change based on the sunshine. It is very holy for local people for praying for worshipping.
Monastery with large statue of Buddha
After visiting thousand lingas river, you will continue to another place. This new site is the Buddhist monastery, where a very huge statue of the Buddha was carved on the natural rock. Because it is related to belief, it is very active for the local people to pray and worship. Along the steps up, you can taste some local cakes.
Waterfall
There are two phases of the waterfall. The first waterfall is shorter than the second one. This waterfall is amazing. You can enjoy swimming there with other national and international tourists. It will relax you after walking up and down the cliff.
Peng Ta Khu
This is an art gem temple in Cambodia because its incredible carvings decorating the whole temple. It was built in tenth century for Shiva in Hinduism. At the exit, you will enjoy the traditional music played by the traditional musical band before walking back to parking.
Begn Mealea temple
Beng Mealea is one of the most mysterious temples at Angkor, exploring this titanic of temples is Angkor’s ultimate Indiana Jones experience, the filming of Jean-Jacques Annaud’s Two Brothers (2004).
