Put on your walking shoes and discover the Cambodian jungle! Hidden from the beaten track lies Kbal Spean with the “River of Thousand Lingas” and an impressive waterfall. To get to the top of Kbal Spean and appreciate the intricately carved stone river bed you have to conquer a fairly steep incline, but fear not – the path is well worn and the biggest obstacles and boulders are overcome by series of well maintained wooden staircases, yet at least medium level of fitness is required for this 3km jungle walk.
On your way back you will visit a small temple of Banteay Srei well known for its beautiful delicate carvings in warm pink sandstone. This late 10th century structure is fairly compact and very different from other Angkorian temples.
To round off your day you may also visit Banteay Samre – a larger temple which is often overlooked by tourists and looks gorgeous in late afternoon light. Travelling back to Siem Reap you will pass through picturesque villages and may wish to stop for rural photo opportunities along the way.

Meals & drinks
To enhance your experience and to preserve Angkor for generations to come, we kindly urge you to observe the following points:
Dress Code: Revealing clothes such as shorts and skirts above the knees and showing bare shoulders are prohibited in sacred places. Respectful dress is strongly encouraged in Angkor.
Monuments: Touching carvings, sitting on fragile structures, leaning on temple structures, moving or taking archaeological artifacts and graffiti are strictly prohibited. Backpacks, umbrellas with sharp tips, tripods and high heels are discouraged from being brought or worn inside the temples.
Sacred Sites: As Angkor is a sacred site, loud conversation, noises and other inappropriate behaviour in Cambodian culture is considered to be offensive and may disturb other visitors. Please keep calm and be respectful.
Restricted Areas: For your own safety and for the conservation of Angkor, please comply with all signs on the site and be mindful of your steps at all times. Do not climb on loose stones.
Smoking and Littering: As a member of the World Health Organization, Angkor has been a smoke free site since 2012. Smoking cigarettes disturbs others and cigarettes can start bush fires. To protect the environment, please do not smoke and litter.
Candy or Money to Children: Buying items, giving candy or money to children encourages them not to attend school but to beg. If you wish to help the children, please consider donating to a recognized charity.
Monks: Monks are revered and respected. If you want to take pictures, please ask for permission first. Women should not touch nor stand or sit too close to monks.

Chansip is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide. He made our trip to Siem Reap so much better. Covered all that I asked, safe van and driver, cold water and towels provided to battle the Cambodian humidity. Very highly recommend. So pleased with our experience, thank you Chan! The Canadian and Americans!
Thank you so much Lisa and my amazing group, it was a great pleasure being your guide in Siem Reap, I really enjoyed my time with you! Thanks again and I wish you all the best of luck.

We had a very memorable day with Chansip. Our group had many different ages; from 5 to 57. Chansip ensured we all learned about the Cambodian history and enjoyed ourselves while we did it. He structured the day to make the most of our time and keep us out of the midday heat. The van was always positioned thoughtfully after we emerged from temple ruins to minimise our circling back and we all loved the cool towels and water to hydrate and cool down. Chansip is very knowledgeable and answered all of our queries thoroughly. We had a great day and so thankful we booked with Chansip for our time visiting the Angkor temples
Dear Emily and lovely family, I am so excited to hear you and lovely family enjoyed my service. It was my great pleasure to be your tour guide during your trip in Siem Reap. I wish you and your family all the best. Best regards, Chansip

Since we were planning to visit Cambodia before this pandemic, we were so happy to find an online tour at Angkor Wat on Triplelights. Our tour guide, Chansip is very kind, pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. He explained various aspects about Angkor Wat and showed us beautiful sceneries there including many detailed carvings. It was just like a real tour. I really recommend exploring Angkor Wat with Chansip.
Hi Tomoko. You're very kind and it was enjoyable for me too, to be able to show you parts of the beautiful place of Angkor Wat temple. It was kind of great luck for me to have showed you all history of Cambodia. Please let me know should you have any question. Hope to you see again in the future. Best regards, Chansip
