*Sunrise is weather-dependent: A beautiful sunrise cannot be guaranteed because clouds, rain, or haze can affect the view.
*Bring your Angkor Pass: Guests need a valid Angkor Enterprise ticket/pass to enter the temple area.
*Dress respectfully: Shoulders and knees should be covered when visiting the temples, especially Angkor Wat.
*Comfortable footwear: Expect quite a bit of walking on uneven stone surfaces, steps, and temple grounds.
*The weather can be hot and sunny: Please bring sunblock/sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a reusable water bottle to stay comfortable and protected from the sun.
*Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water, especially after sunrise as temperatures rise
*Mosquitoes: Mosquitoes may be present around the temple grounds, especially in the early morning. Mosquito repellent is recommended, particularly for sunrise tours.

Sarak was recommended to us by someone who had travelled to Siem Reap pre-pandemic and we're so grateful for the recommendation. He's very patient and knowledgeable and we learnt such a great deal from him about the country's rich history (most of our own had been confined to the late twentieth- and twenty-first century). We had experienced some trouble with purchasing tickets online and Sarak drove us to the ticket office to pick them up and the process was seamless. We did a one-day tour with Sarak, which included the Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Bayon, and more. Sarak speaks excellent English and is really knowledgeable about the cultural and religious history of the various places we visited. The trip was comfortable and pleasant, and it was great not to have to worry about transport. Definitely recommending him to others who intend to visit Siem Reap. Date of experience: November 2022

I spent 2 wonderful days with Sarak. He showed me in a private tour all the importante temples around Siem Reap. 1st day: Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Chau Say Tevoda, Ta Nei, Ta Prohm and on 2nd day: Preah Khan, Neak Poan, East Mebon, Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei.
He knows all the historical details and history and all legends and stories with Hinduism & Buddhism gods and religion. He is a really good storyteller and it isn't boring to hear all the details. He linked the stories with the different temples and the appropriate rock carvings.
The driver drove us safely from temple to temple. Back in the vehicle he was waiting for us with water and refreshing towels.
We had Lunch in local Restaurants. The food was delicious!
I am happy and satisfied that I could do the two tours with Sarak. I am very happy to recommend him!

“Truly a private and relaxing tour!! ”
Mr. Sarak and his colleague Mr Tay picked us up as per our adjusted schedule. He's a very enthusiastic and interactive guide. We got to learn some history and background as we drove to our first stop for the day. He's very patient and can adjust the pace of our exploration to suit our energy and interests. We had different interests in our group and Mr Sarak adapted to answer all our questions and curiosity. We felt relaxed during the journey not being pushed to keep any particular pace, truly a private and customised trip. We had lunch at palmboo restaurant, a really good spot thanks to Sarak we were able to order dishes that were unique to our pallet. Thank you Sarak and Tay for a wonderful time! Highly recommend those who would like to visit places but not want to rush the sightseeing.

If you are looking to book a tour for Angkor Wat please don’t hesitate. Sarak is extremely knowledgeable about the history of all temples and the history of Indo-China and the Khmer. He speaks perfect English and the air conditioned car with chilled towels are a delight…didn’t think we needed them…boy were they a nice bonus…it gets hot out there. Most importantly he is extremely flexible and listens to you and will make changes accordingly. There are many options available…however the knowledge, stories and making the temples come alive were indispensable….worth every penny and a lot more. Please do yourself a favor and book , you can’t do any better!
