This two day tour combines a visit to the floating village and Artisans d’Angkor on the first half day with a trip to Angkor Wat on the second day. If you want, you can change the temple tour to the first day. You’ll see the sunrise, watch a live traditional workshop in operation and see one of the popular floating villages.

Meeting Point
At your hotel
[DAY 1] Tonle Sap floating village
This tour will start at 8:00am or 2:00pm depending on your preference. We will drive to see the floating village at Chong Kneas, just to the south of Siem Reap town. Our guide will take you on a boat trip to pass through the floating village where many Cambodians and ethnic Vietnamese families are living their lives on the water. You can see how they go about their daily lives with markets, schools, clinics and restaurants all floating on top of the water. We'll spend there around two hours and half to three hours.
Artisans d’Angkor
We’ll then head back to Siem Reap to visit Artisans d’Angkor. Here, you can see how local Cambodians have revived many ancient methods for creating arts and crafts including statues, silk and other things. This is one of the most popular attractions in Siem Reap. We'll spend there around half an hour then return back to your hotel about six o'clock, end of the first day tour.
[DAY 2] Angkor Wat sunrise
The Angkor Wat Small Circuit tour starts very early in the morning. You’ll be picked up before sunrise around 4:30 – 5:00am and you’ll spend the whole day exploring the temples before stopping to see the sunset at Srah Srang around 6 – 6:30pm.
It’s a long day, but it we’ll explore the temples at a leisurely pace, stop for lunch and other breaks when required. After the conclusion of the tour, we’ll drop you back to your hotel.
After the sunrise and exploring the whole Angkor Wat from ground floor to the top floor. You'll be feel amazing to see the surrounding landscape from the third floor of the temple. We'll spend there around three hours.
Breakfast at a local restaurant (on your own account)
We’ll stop for breakfast break around half an hour at our preferred local restaurant before continuing to visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom.
South gate of Angkor Thom
We’ll enter via the “South Gate of Angkor Thom” on a long causeway which is flanked by a row of 54 mythical beings which are said to guard the city from bad spirits.
Angkor Thom city
First on the list is a visit to Bayon temple which is located exactly in the centre of Angkor Thom. The hundreds of giant stone faces will look down on you throughout the temple and are some of the most recognized and photogenic spots in Siem Reap. Then, move on to a mid-11th century temple, Baphuon is a beautiful temple at Angkor Thom. Its name means a hidden temple. It has three tiers, built in a shape of pyramid.
We’ll then head over to the Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of the Leper King before taking lunch. We'll spend there around two hours and half to three hours.
Lunch
You have the option to have lunch in a local restaurant nearby the temples or we can head back to your hotel to eat lunch.
Ta Prohm temple
After lunch, we’ll restart our tour to see the “Tomb Raider” temple which is called Ta Prohm. It’s one of the most popular temples because of its unique appearance. The jungle is literally growing right through the temple. We'll spend there around two hours by walking through from the west gate to visit the whole temple and finish by the east gate.
Banteay Kdei temple
Next up is Banteay Kdei temple which is a large unrestored complex in a similar style to Ta Prohm. We'll enter this temple from west gate to see the whole temple and leaving by the east gate. We'll spend there around one hour.
Srah Srang sunset
We’ll then head over to Srah Srang which is a large manmade lake known as the “Royal Bath”. Here, we’ll be leisurely watching the sunset over the pond another one hour before heading back into town.

The tour is designed for traveler who has a limited time to visit the main temples in the Angkor complex and the floating village. Ask your hotel to prepare you a breakfast box. If your hotel has breakfast included, this is usually provided at no extra cost. You must wear clothes which cover your shoulders and knees. The third level tower at Angkor Wat is closed during Buddhist holidays. Comfortable shoes are recommended. We also recommend that you take an umbrella or raincoat during the rainy season – May to October.
