Tiger Leaping Gorge is a scenic canyon on the Jinsha River. It is located 60 kilometers north of Lijiang. It is part of the Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas World Heritage Site. In this tour, you will trek the gorge that doesn't require a strenuous walk. It is ideal for those who don't want to exhaust themselves during a vacation! It is easy walking, mostly flat or downhill. Also suitable for families with children.

Meeting Point
At Your Hotel
Pick up at your hotel in Lijiang and head to the TLG by a private car
It takes about 1.5 hours from Lijiang to TLG.
Arrive at Hutiaoxia town and the Hike Entrance
Purchase the entrance tickets (65RMB), and our driver will drop you here.
Tea Horse Guesthouse
Walk uphill along a small road for about 1.5 hours. Along the way you will enjoy spectacular views of the Tiger Leaping Gorge and the “5 Fingers” of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Lunch time
Half Way House
In the afternoon you continue walk on a high trail for another 2 hours until you reach the Half Way House where you can have a short rest. Once again your efforts are rewarded with magnificent views of the Jade Dragon Mountain.
Tina’s Guesthouse
Continue for another two hours downhill to Tina’s Guesthouse. From here your driver will drive you back to your hotel in Lijiang.
