This is THE tour for all of those who seeks for true tradition of Dubrovnik, off the beaten paths, out of crowds, local families !!! During this unique experience out of crowds, you will meet local families, learn about our traditional way of life, try local delicacies, learn about traditional oyster growing process and about olive oil production in very traditional, old way, out of touristy areas. Beautiful landscapes, panoramic views of Adriatic sea and Mediterranean villages are on the way...

Meeting Point

Pick up at any preferred location in Dubrovnik City.
- Pick up at any preferred location in Dubrovnik.
- Coastal, scenic drive out of Dubrovnik towards Primorje villages.
Primorje villages
- Old, Napoleonic road drive overlooking Elaphite archipelago for the breathtaking views and photo stops.
- Visit to local family in one of the villages for the presentation of old olive oil mill and traditional way of life followed by traditional, local snack ( meal ).
- We will continue our drive along Mediterranean, coastal villages to pristine water bay of Bistrina ( more secluded part of Ston bay ).
Local Oyster farms
- Spacious barge ride to the middle of calm bay to the oyster farms with another local family ( my cousin ).
- Oyster growing presentation and oyster tasting with local, home made wine, liquors, cheese, sweets and seasonal fruit.
Ston town known of it's Medieval City Walls
- Back to the shore and 15 minutes long drive to Medieval, Ston town known of it's City Walls, salt works and sea food restaurants.
- Brief brake to introduce you to Ston's historical value.
End of the tour
I give you a transportation back to Dubrovnik.

- Services of a local, licensed tourist guide.
- Transportation in spacious, Mercedes Vito Tourer van.
- Visit to local family for presentation of traditional, old olive oil mill with local snack ( home made cheese, smoked ham, honey, cherries ), home made liquors and home made
wine.
- Visit to local oyster farmer and spacious barge ride to the oyster farms with presentation of their growing process and tasting, home made wine, liquors, cheese,
seasonal fruit and sweets.
All the costs regarded to your personal activities like optional drink breaks along the way, souvenirs, optional meal break, etc.
Tour Important Information
- This is true local, off the beaten paths experience.
- In case of very bad weather conditions ( rain with wind ) we will do oyster tasting and growing presentation from the shore, in closest vicinity of oyster farms.

My name is Darko and I was born and raised in Dubrovnik, where I have spent my whole life, so I can say that I am a true Dubrovnik local.
Since 2004 I have been working in tourism and as a real outdoor person I can say that being a licensed tourist guide in Dubrovnik County gives me the chance to say that all of these historical sites, landscapes, nature that used to be my playground are my office today !!!

“Fantastic tour!”
Darko was so patient and knowledgeable. He really knew the history of Dubrovnik. We got to see and do so much. We walked the city wall, toured the town and took a cable car ride. I had been to Dubrovnik a couple of times but still learned many things. My mother was with us and he was so thoughtful and compassionate towards her. I would highly recommend him to any group.
