It's time to go chasing waterfalls!
The Plitvice Lakes in Croatia can emit hues ranging from green and grey to blue and azure. Minerals and organisms residing in the series of sixteen interconnected lakes in combination with the shifting sunlight provide this spectacular rainbow dance several times a day. Add to that the waterfall connecting the separate lakes and the surrounding woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, and birds, and the Plitvice Lakes are something out of a fairy-tale.

This is just a suggested itinerary. I will adapt to all of your needs and wishes while scrolling the lake system that has been divided into the Upper and Lower lakes.
The Plitvice Lakes National Park are possible to visit in few ways. I will explain to you everything on the main map of the Park by the entrance. We will have few options for how long to walk through: 3, 4, or 5-hour sightseeing. It will be up to you.
Let's take the Panorama train that will take us up to the highest lake of the Plitvice National Park. From the Lake Proščansko we'll start our sightseeing of the Upper lakes.
By this time we will visit all of the 12 Upper lakes of the National Park: Prošćansko jezero, Ciginovac, Okrugljak, Batinovac, Veliko jezero, Malo jezero, Vir, Galovac, Milino jezero, Gradinsko jezero, Burgeti and Kozjak.
After the ride with the electric boat, we can have a restroom break, continue with the sightseeing, or end the tour with few options that I will explain on the spot. I'm flexible, and I will meet your needs.
By the end of the tour, we will visit all the Lower lakes too. And here is the place where we'll find the biggest waterfall in Croatia: the Veliki (Big) waterfall, 78-meter tall.
After the sightseeing, we can drive back directly to Split or we could stop for lunch in a local tavern - it will be up to you.

Frane picked me up early morning to visit Krka National Park. During the ride he told me many things about Croatia, the history, nature, habits etc. In the park he showed me the nice spots, told me about the vegetation and fauna. I was surprised about the knowledge the showed about so many subjects. Besides that a very nice and funny person as well!
