Hello, My name is Joško (pronounced: Yosch-ko) and I am a Licensed Tour Guide by Ministry of Tourism in Croatia, with expertise in the Region of Dalmatia. I was born and raised in Split, grew up in '80s/'90s during times of Communism and Homeland War and still live here. I specialized in active and cultural small group travel, privately guided and custom designed tours throughout Dalmatia, the oldest and most beautiful region of Croatia. My experiences in tourism, formal education, and authentic knowledge of the amazing Dalmatian Coast and it’s rich surroundings have led me to turn my passion into my profession. I graduated from the University of Zagreb with Master's degree in Economics & History Studies. Since 2002 I have been guiding and creating customized tours in Croatia and during this time I have enjoyed partnering with several US and European travel companies. I truly believe a Croatian destination will always be gorgeous and fascinating and I simply love of being an ambassador of my beautiful country with visitors. Hello! My name is Lea, Split is my hometown and I'm a licensed tour guide for Split-Dalmatia, Dubrovnik-Neretva and Šibenik-Knin county, both in English and Spanish language. I was born in Split, I have been living here for more than 20 years and I'm passionate about sharing its beauty and culture! I got my Master's degree in Marketing, at Faculty of Economics here in Split. Following my university studies, I moved to Barcelona to do an internship before returning back to Split. I have always enjoyed learning languages, travelling and experiencing different cultures. Soon after graduation I have realised that office job doesn't suit me and I started to work as a tour guide, which was the best decision I have ever made! When I'm not tour guiding, I love to learn languages - I can speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Yoga is also one of my passions, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) by International Yoga Alliance. Local gastronomy has always interested me, so I decided to do a course for a wine consultant to get to know more about the rich wine history in Croatia. In my free time, I love long walks with my dog and reading books. “Great adventures in and near Split”
"Henry" is one heck of a guide. He has been one of our favorites in all of our travels. We booked his services while in Split for the day as part of a cruise, and we couldn't be happier. First stop was the remarkable retirement palace of the Emperor Diocletian. One could spend days here just wandering around. Henry was able to focus our attention on sites of special significance and gave an insider's view of this incredible space. Next, we were off in his car to the fortress at Klis. Comprehensive info was given during the drive so we had a good foundation for our exploration here. We were given a nice amount of free time to experience the impressive ruins on our own too. We decided to skip a lunch break and headed for Trogir, a charming old town which has a lovely pedestrian-only center. After more independent adventures, Henry safely got us back to the cruise port with no worry about missing the boat. Henry has been one of our favorite guides overall. He knows how to give a balanced tour which incorporates some time for self-exploration as well as insightful history and commentary. He is intelligent and personable and eager to show his wonderful area of the world to his guests. Highly recommend him!

“Tour of Diocletian's palace”
Josko was a fantastic guide. He met with us late in the evening as we were just passing through Split and had little time to fit in a tour. Josko was accommodating and arranged a tour around our schedule. He is very knowledgable about the Palace, specifically, and Split's and Croatia's history generally. I'm a history buff and my wife is not, so he had to balance differing levels and areas of interest. He picked up very quickly that she preferred the human stories, while I enjoyed a broader sweep of history. He kept us moving briskly along, took great pictures along the way and made sure we saw the sunset from the palace windows facing the sea. It was a great tour. You won't be disappointed with Josko!
