This 90-minute private walk solves that on day one. We'll cover the most iconic sights — Old Town, the Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge with the postcard view of Prague Castle - and you'll leave with a hand-marked map showing where to eat, drink, & explore for the rest of your stay. Meeting Point

Na Příkopě 864/28, 110 00 Nové Město

- We meet at the main entrance of the Czech National Bank (Česká národní banka) — a large grey building directly opposite the Gothic Powder Tower (Prašná brána). The Powder Tower is the tallest medieval gateway in this part of the city, you can't miss it. I'll be waiting at the bank entrance with a "Prague Highlights" sign. Please arrive 5 minutes early so we can start on time.

Powder Tower

The 500-year-old Gothic gateway where Czech kings began their coronation route to Prague Castle. We start here and I'll tell you the story of how the medieval royal road shaped the entire layout of the Old Town.

Old Town Hidden Lanes

We slip off the main tourist route into medieval alleys, quiet courtyards, and small squares most visitors walk straight past. Every corner here has a story — and a view you won't see in any guidebook.

Your Personal Prague Map

We stop at the tourist info centre to pick up a free city map. I'll mark every must-see, the best Czech restaurants (including one where my own family eats), local pubs, hidden viewpoints, and the neighbourhoods worth your time. This map becomes your personal guide to Prague for the rest of your trip.

Old Town Square & the Astronomical Clock

The heart of Prague — Gothic spires of Týn Cathedral, Baroque facades, and the legendary Orloj, the oldest working astronomical clock in the world. We'll watch the hourly show and I'll tell you the chilling story of the master who built it (and what the people of Prague did to make sure he could never build another).

Karlova Street

One of Prague's most beautiful medieval streets and a key part of the historic royal route. I'll tell you when to come back to enjoy it without the crowds.

Charles Bridge & Prague Castle View

We finish on the most iconic bridge in Central Europe — 650 years old, 30 statues, and the postcard view of Prague Castle rising above the Vltava. You'll touch the bronze plaque of Saint John of Nepomuk and make your most important wish. The perfect ending to your first 90 minutes in Prague.

Tour Important Information

Please read before booking:

- Comfortable walking shoes are essential — Prague's historic centre is paved with cobblestones and uneven medieval stones. Avoid heels.

- Dress for the weather. We walk outdoors the entire time — bring a jacket, umbrella, or sun hat depending on the season. Prague summers can be hot, winters cold and icy.

- Limited wheelchair access. Most of the route involves uneven cobblestones. Please message me before booking if accessibility is a concern.

- Children are very welcome! Strollers are possible but not ideal on cobblestones — a baby carrier works better.

- Please arrive 5 minutes early at the meeting point so we can start on time. The tour is 90 minutes and the route is timed carefully.

- No entrance fees are required — this is a walking tour and we don't enter any paid attractions.

- This is a private tour — only your group, no strangers.
