The Tombs of Meir (also spelled Mir or Mayr) is an important ancient Egyptian archaeological site located on the west bank of the Nile in the Asyut Governorate of Middle Egypt. This necropolis served as the burial place for the nomarchs (provincial governors) and high priests of the nearby ancient city of Cusae during the Old and Middle Kingdoms (Dynasties 6-12).
