The Perfect Guide for Exploring Luxor’s West Bank

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Mohamed as our guide on the West Bank of Luxor. He was excellent from start to finish. Mohamed is Egyptian and works in archaeology, and you can truly feel his deep knowledge and genuine passion for Egyptian culture and history. Exploring the West Bank with him — with its incredible temples and tombs — was unforgettable. He didn’t just explain the sites; he brought them to life with fascinating details, stories, and context that you wouldn’t get otherwise. It was clear that he truly loves what he does, and that enthusiasm made the experience even more special for us. We learned so much, and at the same time we had a lot of fun. It was the perfect balance between education and enjoyment. Highly recommended… thank you, Mohamed, for such a memorable day in Luxor!

Amazing time with an amazing guide, Ali Sayed!

Our trip to Luxor was unforgettable thanks to Ali Sayed. Traveling with my teenage son, we explored the incredible wonders of the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and Valley of the Nobles, as well as the breathtaking Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Medinet Habu, and Dendera Temple Complex. Ali was knowledgeable, accommodating, and spoke excellent English, making every site come alive with fascinating stories and history. He connected wonderfully with my son and made learning fun and engaging. Truly the best guide in Luxor—we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Thank you so much for your beautiful words — it truly means a lot to me. It was a real pleasure spending this special time with you and your son exploring the wonders of Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Nobles, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Medinet Habu, and the magnificent Dendera Temple Complex. I’m especially happy to hear that your son enjoyed the experience. Sharing the history and stories of ancient Egypt with young explorers is always something very special to me. Seeing curiosity and excitement makes my work truly rewarding. Thank you again for your trust and kindness. You will always be welcome back to Luxor — it would be my honor to guide you again on another unforgettable journey. Warmest regards, Ali
