Walk through the labyrinth of cobbled ancient streets to the Saint Martin Collegiate church, built between 1234 - 1365 made from yellow sandstone. A perfect example of Gothic architecture.
Dating from the Renaissance period, this corner house and the surrounding buildings conjure up images of what life was like in ancient Colmar.
Indulge yourself with a taste of some fabulous local Alsatian cheese.
Take in the views that have made the city of Colmar so famous around the world.
The first wine tasting of the day, situated in the cellar beneath the ancient streets of Riquewihr. This 14th generation family specialises in Crémant sparkling wine, a wine famous throughout the region. You will also get to taste many other wines produced by this revered family of vignerons.
Lunch at a local Bistro (not included in the price of the tour).
Your second wine tasting, with wines made from a 13th generation family whose medieval building still houses the working winery.
A wine tasting at a winery renowned throughout the region for producing some of the very finest, multi-award winning dry Riesling's. You will also sample many other grape varieties including the spicy Gewurztraminer, smoky, spicy Pinot Gris amongst others.
Return to your hotel in either Colmar or Basel(Switzerland).
