There we will visit three exceptional wineries cradled in amongst some of the most coveted Grand Cru’ vineyards in Alsace. Here you can enjoy the many breath-taking, picturesque landscapes of this alluringly exquisite region.
Riquewihr
The first destination of your wine tour is the alluringly, beautiful medieval village of Riquewihr, which is considered by many people, to be one of the most picturesque villages in the whole of Alsace.
The Vigneron’s of Riquewihr produce unquestionably, many of the most exquisitely dry white wines to be found anywhere in the region, especially Riesling for which the Schonenbourg Grand Cru is justifiably famous.
It is here in Riquewihr, that you will taste sparkling Crémant d’Alsace, (made using the traditional champagne method) also the deliciously fragrant, and multi-layered Gewürztraminer wine, famous for its spicy, fragrant, fruity character, amongst many other wonderful wines.
Riquewihr
We will then make our way up into the fabulous Schonenbourg Grand Cru vineyard, where you can observe the rich tapestry of the surrounding vineyards and the verdant, undulating, landscape stretching out before you.

Niedermorschwihr
Our next winery will be within the walls of ancient Niedermorschwihr. It is here that you will taste some exceptional wines from one of the regions most acclaimed wine dynasties.
Cradled in the shadow of one of the very steepest Grand Cru in Alsace, the family has lived here since 1650.
At this historic old winery you will taste the driest and fruitiest of Rieslings alongside many of the most sumptuously noble grapes to be found in Alsace, including Sylvaner, Muscat, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc.

Discover the narrow cobbled alleyways of this unique medieval, (Unesco protected) town.
Here you will encounter an esteemed wine producing family who’s multi-award winning wines are produced strictly in accordance with organic and bio-dynamic practices. The winemaker is an authority and pioneering exponent of Bio-diversity in the creation of a natural eco-system for his vines. It is because of this steadfast philosophy that his wines are rightfully highly respected and venerated not only by wine professionals and journalists, but with wine lovers and connoisseurs around the globe.
