Didgori Battle Memorial
This monumental site commemorates the Battle of Didgori, one of the most famous and important battles in Georgian history, known as the "Miraculous Victory." The memorial features dozens of massive swords thrust into the ground and monumental sculptures representing the fallen warriors scattered across the meadows.

Asureti Village and German Church
Visit Asureti's Evangelical Lutheran church, constructed by German settlers in the mid-19th century.
Asureti was an ancient Georgian village, but after constant invasions, it became abandoned. In 1818, German colonists settled on the territory and built a new village from the ruins, officially opening it on St. Elizabeth's Day and naming it Elisabethal.
You can see a German-style dwelling here. Many buildings of this style are found in the Hesse region of Germany.

Our second tour with Nini, this time to Mtskheta by van, was just as fantastic as the first one. Nini was extremely attentive throughout the entire tour, and the driver was excellent — very professional, careful, and friendly. Everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. She took us to stunning historical sites such as Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, explaining their importance in a clear and passionate way. Nini also showed us lovely local spots, helped us discover Georgian gastronomy, and guided us to great places to buy souvenirs at very good prices. Both Nini and the driver made us feel very well taken care of the whole time. It was an unforgettable experience and a perfect way to explore the cultural and historical heart of Georgia. We highly recommend this tour and Nini as a guide.
