For many, the Moselle Valley is the most beautiful of all German river valleys. It offers a wonderfully gentle landscape - almost like Tuscany - picturesque villages, numerous culinary delights and world-class wines. Definitely a destination that should not be missed on any trip to Germany.

Immediately after high school, my passion for travel ignited and took me backpacking to an incredible amount of beautiful places around the world, including Japan, Vietnam, Colombia, Georgia, Tanzania, and especially North America. About 12 years ago I also felt the desire to bring people from all over the world to my home country and to convey to them the variety of Germany's rich culture. So in 2009 I started working as a travel guide, first for young people during their summer holidays, later for groups of all ages and backgrounds. Talking about backgrounds- mine may not seem very typical: I studied political science and journalism in Mainz and Strasbourg (France) and used to work at a radio station and at the European Parliament. In addition to my work as a tour guide, I run a restaurant together with my parents and am mainly responsible for planning events there, which I also enjoy very much.
Since I know Germany very well and have traveled all over the country both professionally and privately, I can basically guide in all parts of Germany. However, I'm specialized in the regions that are easily accessible from Frankfurt in a short time, namely the Rhine Valley, the Moselle Valley, Heidelberg, the entire Black Forest as well as Franconia and - due to the origin of my family - the beautiful Upper Bavaria. On each of my tours you will learn a lot about the geography, the history and the lifestyle of each region, but of course also about the food and drinking culture, everyday life, the architectural features and many things that you would not find in a guidebook.
Just contact me - I will be happy to plan a tailor-made tour for you - according to your personal wishes and ideas. Do you feel like enjoying a culinary trip, maybe even with a special focus on wine and beer? I'm the right person for you! I'm also delighted to organize a historical tour with an emphasis on the Third Reich or the history of the GDR. In any case I promise you a very informative, entertaining and really enjoyable time in Germany, which you will always remember with pleasure. I am looking forward to seeing you!
