Old Grammer School. Trier Straße13

This building was built in 1873 to train young people "modern" agriculture techniques and promote agriculture as a trade. Under the Nazi regime, the school was to provide ideological education promoting "Volksgemeinschaft" to children and young people.

Site of former NSDAP Headquarters Bitburg, Spittel, Hauptstraße 3b

Utilizing the former "Hotel zur Post", which was built around 1802 and served not only as a hotel but also the town's post office, many party event took place in the square directly in from of the hotel.

Site of Former Jewish Synagogue

Built in 1878, this was the first synagogue built in the Eifel region. 70 years later it was devastated by the Nazi regime.

Memorial Stele, Am Markt

In 2017, the city of Bitburg erected the memorial "Der Riss" (the Rift) to commemorate the Jewish citizens of Bitburg who were murdered by the National Socialist party.

Kallman House. Köiner Straße 4

this house once belonged to the Jewish Kallmann family. On April 23, 1942, the family of 4 were deported, none survived.

District Court. Gerichstraße 2/4

Built in 1937 by the Nationalist Socialist Party, this administrative building became a key instrument used against the Jewish citizens of Bitburg.

Hitler Youth Home and League of German Woman

Built in 1937, this building facilitated the regular and mandatory meetings of the Hitler Youth and League of German Women.

Bitburg Jewish Cemetery. Telweg and Erdorfer Straße

In 1890, the Jewish population was granted the land for a Jewish cemetery. Before this cemetery was opened, the Jewish citizen had to bury their family members in the Trier Jewish cemetery.
