The center of commerce, revolt and ultimate destruction. Saladin fought here. So did King Louis IX of France.

I will pick you up at your hotel and start our day as we drive through Tel Aviv.
Caesarea Crusader Gate and walls
We enter the walled city by crossing the dry moat and the double gated tower. We will dedicate the first part of our visit to the history, archaeology and the new visitor center.
Grab a coffee and snack.
Roman Hipodrome
We have stepped back in time to the Roman period. We will visit the hipodrome, bath house, public WC, amphitheater and theatre. Fascinating!
Aquaduct and the Bird Mosaic
What can we learn from looking at a mosaic? A lot!
Head back to Tel Aviv
A short drive through a residential area of new Caesarea and start our journey home.
