“Very rewarding”
Mana gave my wife and I a fascinating tour of the most beautiful gardens and shrines in Kyoto. She is very knowledgable and she explained many points of interest in easily understood ways. She is charming and friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend her.

“We did beautiful sightseeing”
We enjoyed our tour a lot, Mana was quick, so we were able to see a lot of things. She was also very flexible, so when the kids wanted to slow down and see something, she was very patient. She also spent more than 8 hours with us and said that we did not have to pay extra. The explanations for children were very interesting, and we especially enjoyed the shibori museum where my friend’s teenage daughter was given a unique opportunity to try a very valuable kimono and we bought unique souvenirs. Thank you!

(83 reviews)Dear Nataliya. Thank you very much for the 5-star review. It was a stroke of luck that her daughter was able to wear a fully tailored “Shibori ”kimono. (She's only the second person to be able to wear the kimono since I started guiding in 2017.) I'm very happy that this has sparked an interest in Japanese culture, especially Kyoto's kimono culture, among all of you. Mana
“A great slice of Kyoto experience”
We had an excellent time with Mana. As a former schoolteacher (and former police woman!), she had some great lessons about Japanese culture and language using some fun drawings. We also learned a lot about how to effectively navigate around Kyoto which is very useful as we have several more days to explore. Mana created an itinerary that was varied and fun. It included both notable cultural sites such as the Golden Pavilion, nature visits to see monkeys and bamboo forests, as well as a very interesting visit to a Shibori (kimono) artisan center.

(83 reviews)Dear Seth. Thank you very much for your quick and wonderful review. I'm happy that you, who challenge the Kiso Road of the Nakasendo, and the pilgrimage of Shikoku often avoided by many Japanese, enjoyed my tour in the northwest of Kyoto. I pray that your long journey in Japan will continue safely and in good health. Somewhere along the line, I believe that your ability to count numbers in Japanese will surely come in handy. Thank you again ! Mana
