This tour covers 4 must-see sightseeing spot . Firstly, we visit the golden pavilion. We go to Arashiyama. We walk through Tenryuji garden and bamboo forest. In the afternoon, we'll visit Nijo castle. (We enjoy watching a live demonstration of Japanese sweet making with green tea(Mattcha).Finally you can learn about Kyoto’s traditional and wonderful kimono

We basically use the public transportation , but the bus is not available soon , we take a taxi to save the time.
Live demostration is not available on Wednesday. Kimono Show is not available at Nishiji textile center now
You have to take your shoes off at Nijyo castle.

Hello, my name is Mana. I am a National Licensed Tour Guide in English. I was born and raised in Kyoto. I worked for the Kyoto Prefectural Police Headquarters after I graduated from university.
I know lots about Kyoto's cultures and festivals . I am good at walking. After I got married, I have been in Shiga for over 30 years. I work for at high school as a part time teacher. I am flexible in Kyoto and Shiga. I am practicing ”Rakugo”a traditional Japanese comedic storytelling art, to make my tours more enjoyable and filled with laughter. “Covered a lot in a short time ”
If a brisk pace and local knowledge is your thing then Mana is perfect. She is very fit and we got a great workout while touring several sites. She also had visual aids and taught us how to count in Japanese.
