I must admit I felt a little nervous in that tearoom, as it’s a place where it’s quite rare to get a reservation—and afterward, I almost made a big mistake! The words written on the hanging scroll in the tearoom meant, “Autumn is approaching, and the weather is getting colder. Dear Ralph I was truly delighted that you entrusted me with the Kyoto tour for your beloved parents and that you gave such a high-rated review. I'm relieved to hear that they returned safely to your home country after their long journey. Although it unfortunately rained on the second day, they enjoyed interacting with people around them while using various forms of public transportation. Their genuine interest in history and culture, as well as their willingness to actively engage and try new things, made the tour a valuable learning experience for me as well.
