“Very helpful and fun”
We spent our 3rd day with Tomoe and visited Nara outside of central Kyoto. Tomoe knows all of the best places to go in Kyoto, and the best way to get there. We would not have seen half of what we did without her guidance. We highly recommend Tomoe for any experience in Kyoto.

Dear John, Thank you so much for such a warmhearted review again! I enjoyed 3 days with you, a really nice couple in Kyoto and Nara. Also, I had unique experience with you, too. Train troubles on the 2nd morning, delicious Chinese lunch...I will always remember you when I have train troubles even though I don't want to have anymore...I hope that you will come back to Japan and I can see you again. Thank you very much for booking me. Precious meeting! TOMOE

“Perfect day visit in Kyoto with Alex!”
My family and I spent a great day with Alex walking around Kyoto and learning so much about Japanese culture and way of life. He has huge knwoledge of Japan and its people after 11 years living there married to a Japanese woman. He to ok us to some non- touristic places in Kyoto, which we did appreciate so much. Whenever we are back in Kyoto or Osaka, we will definetely spend another day with him!!

“Kyoto History Tour off the beaten path ”
We enjoyed our Kyoto History Tour very much. Eco showed us the Shokoku Ji Temple and the Imperial palace. We saw the beautiful Zen Garden of the Temple and learned a lot about Buddhism. We saw the nice living area of today’s life in Kyoto and a market and learned a lot about Japanese society of the past and today. We had matcha tea in a Tea house with tradition and then we went to the Heian Jingu. Due to the profound knowledge of Eco, I think he could show nearly every religious or cultural site in and around Kyoto. Especially he knows places of interest which are not overcrowded.
