Meeting Point

Petra Visitors Centre

- The tour starts at Petra Visitor Center. Take the free 7 AM shuttle (earlier tours need a JOD 15 taxi). Pass Little Petra (truck ticket JOD 5), Back Trail, Wadi al-Khayl, Monastery, Petra Basin, Qasr al-Bint, Colonnaded Street, Great Temple, ending at the Treasury. Walk or golf cart back.

Explore Petra’s grandest monument with optional climb to a viewpoint for breathtaking panoramas.

Explore the Colonnaded Street, Qasr al-Bint, Royal Tombs, theater area, and the Street of Facades.

Treasury (Al-Khazneh

The most magnificent monument carved by the Nabataeans. Its exceptional location at the Siq's entrance and its impressive height of 39.5 meters have given it unparalleled significance. The monument’s name comes from a local Bedouin legend that the pharaoh hid a treasure in the urn at the top, and you can see bullet holes from shooting at the urn to try to retrieve this treasure.

“Exceptional 6-days journey in Jordan ”

We had an exceptional 6-days journey in Jordan with our driver and guide, covering Amman, Jerash, Ajloun, Madaba, the Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organised, and enjoyable. Starting from Amman to Jerash and Ajloun and back to Amman, then continuing through Madaba and the Dead Sea to Petra, followed by Wadi Rum and Aqaba, he handled every long drive with professionalism and care. The driving was safe and comfortable, and the vehicle was always clean and well maintained.
