Sunrise breakfast in the wild.
Your game drive will take about four hours, and should showcase some of Africa's most iconic animals. You can spot lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs, hyenas, zebra, and much more in their natural habitat.
At 11:00 am, visitors are allowed to a small viewing area with a muddy watering hole. Animal handlers come in alongside a dozen or so baby elephants. The handlers bottle-feed the baby elephants – a heartwarming sight. The elephants also use this designated time slot for their daily mud bath, which makes for some great photos. The keepers narrate about the individual orphans and their stories on how they ended up in the nursery. This awesome experience lasts for one hour.
Lunch break at either Tamambo/ Karen Blixen Coffee Garden/ Nairobi Clubhouse / Carnivore Restaurant.
Feed and Kiss a Giraffe.
Visit Giraffe Centre in the afternoon up to 5:00 pm. There is an elevated feeding platform that allows you to hand feed the giraffes, which can be an education in itself. The Centre offers more giraffe viewing from its Tea House, with refreshments and relaxing vistas.
You can see, close at hand, how the giraffe uses its long prehensile tongue to strip leaves from the acacia branches, from the top of a platform having stand eye to eye with the giraffes and feed them small pellets. You may opt for a 2 Km nature trail to walk through.
After the Giraffe centre, we take you to Kazuri beads factory to see and participate in making your ornaments.
Optional - we pass through Steadmark garden. The garden is popular with exotic ornamental animals, floating restaurant, heated swimming pool, virtual reality, and amusement park.
