Issyk-Kul is the largest lake in Kyrgyzstan. Issyk-Kul is translated as “hot lake”. The water temperature here does not drop to below zero even in winter, so the lake never freezes.
There are many beautiful places around Issyk Kul that we will visit during the tour.
Day 1: Bishkek – Fairy Tale Canyon - Tosor yurt camp(300 km)
Day 2: Zheti-Oguz Rock – Kok Zhaiyk Valley (waterfall) - Karakol (120 km)
Day 3: Karakol City Tour-Semenovsky Gorge-Tamchi (200 km)
Day 4: Tamchi – Bishkek ( 220 km)

Meeting Point
At the hotel
Day 1: Bishkek –– Fairy Tale Canyon - Tosor yurt camp
The tour starts from Bishkek. On the way to Issyk-Kul we will enjoy the beautiful nature and we will have lunch at a local cafe
After we will visit the most beautiful fairy tale canyon.
We will arrive at the Tosor yurt camp, which is located on the shore of the lake. We will be accommodated in yurts. A yurt is a house of nomadic Kyrgyz.
From October to May, accommodation will be in a guest house, because the yurt camps are closed.
Day 2: Zheti-Oguz Rocks-Kok Zhaiyk Valley – Karakol city
After breakfast we will go to Zheti Oguz rocks.Zheti-Oguz , known for its red rock formations: The “Seven Bulls”
The “Broken Heart” cliff.Then we will go to Kok Zhaiyk Valley. We will go to the waterfall. The road on foot will take 1 hour one way. On the way to the waterfall there is a beautiful view of the valley.
Continue to Karakol, a city with cultural and historical significance.
Dinner and accommodation in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Karakol City Tour- Semenovsky Gorge- Tamchi
After breakfast, explore Karakol’s landmarks:
Dungan Mosque, built without nails
Holy Trinity Orthodox Church
Afterwards we will go to the northern part of Issyk-Kul. On the way we will stop in Semenovsky Gorge, if we have enough time we can reach the lake. Here you can ride horses.
Arrival in Tamchi and accommodation in a guest house. Free time, you can swim in the lake or in hot springs
Day 4: Tamchi – Bishkek
After breakfast we return to Bishkek, admiring the views along the way.

“7 day Kyrgyzstan adventure”
We recently returned (June 2026) from an amazing 7-day tour of Kyrgyzstan with Guliza, and we couldn’t have been happier. “Wonderful day at Ala Archa National Parc”
